Thursday's Washington Post will have a huge packet of ads. And someone posted in another thread a few days ago a link where you can look at the Black Friday deals ahead of time. If you have an idea of which stores you'd like to shop at we can tell you where to find them. Just about all chain stores have some kind of deals. Where do you live?

There are Black Friday deals all over the place. The malls open super early (like 5AM). I've seen crowds form outside of Walmart and Toys R Us a half hour before the stores open. It gets a little crazy, but it's fun. If you like that type of fun - LOL.

I always check out Thursday's Post packet and plan from there.

Tysons is opening at midnight as is Leesburg Corner for the start of the sales.

I'd rather stick a knitting needle in my eye than go shopping on Black friday!

Some stores in Potomac Mills are opening at midnight too.

Make sure to own your space if you're one of the ones rushing in. We don't want to here anymore stories of ppl. dying for discounted items!

LOL me too! I'm finished Christmas shopping, anyway. Black Friday brings out the mean greediness in people, and I hate witnessing that and refuse to participate in any way. Ugh.

The outlet mall in Leesburg is open all night and buses people into the mall from a local elementary school. Apparently the deals are worth it. I wouldn't know nor will I ever find out. Like a previous poster, I'd rather stick a needle in my eye than go shopping at 2:00 am on Black Friday.
