One bit of advice about getting to 1860 Town Center: Fairfax County Parkway is faster than Reston Parkway. Whichever Parkway you choose, the exit is New Dominion Parkway. If you take Fairfax County Parkway your exit will be ON THE LEFT SIDE. It's actually a very direct route to the hospital complex.

Parking at this building can be a bear in the afternoon. Don't even both with the front lot, go straight to the back of the back lot, and you can usually find a space there.

Default ? Best way from BWI to Ashburn... at 5:00 pm ?

Yes, I know it is rush hour. And yes, flying into Dulles would have been better. Just wondering if 95-495-to the toll road would be the best way, or if I should try to be creative (ie the ferry, or georgetown pike) ?? Also, about when does traffic usually die down somewhat at night these days ? I can always stop somewhere to wait it out.

Grew up in No. Va, but have not lived there in 15 years. Am renting a car, and contemplated trains/metro/buses, but don't want to lug bags around all evening.

Thanks so much in advance

OK, so I have two alternates that I found going from Reston to Annandale (little river tpke) area.
Right now it is a real cluster@#$ to go Dulles toll road the Beltway via Tysons and then its jammed all the way down to Little River .
So i found going to Hunter Mill rd to Chain Bridge then left on Main (236) into Annandale.
Also could go Reston Pkwy to Ox road to Main street but this seems more out of way.
