Putting this up here in case anyone knows anything. She was my friend's roommate a couple of years ago at Mason. She has a little girl and she was also about five months pregnant.

She's been missing for weeks before her family finds out that she's been missing? Who was taking care of her kid while she was missing?

I thought that was odd as well.

Edit: I just saw this comment at the bottom of the story. I guess that would explain why the delay in reporting her missing. Way to go for that deep investigative reporting.

"I think its funny that the police never mention that she and her husband were having issues, and that she was living with another man in that apartment, and that is who she was always arguing with, not to mention pregnant with his child. Yes, her husband was in town, but last saw her a few days before he left again, as they were having problems, and spent his last few days stateside, with his son. Her family also tried to report her missing on Feb. 4 I do believe, but the police told them that she was an adult, and there was nothing they could do, but are they going to admit that now, of course not. It was only after Bethany's grandparents went to her apt to check on her, since no one had heard from her, that police got involved, as her apt was empty with the exception of a bag packed. It's funny how the news only reports what it wants to, and not give out all the truth. Same goes for the police."

All they (police) need to look into are her current and recent-former lovers, which there are at least two of them, the husband and the live-in "boyfriend." Look into them, bang, case solved.

I hate to be a pessimist but I have a feeling that this story is not going to have a happy ending.
