Post your pics of this weekend's storm here. We'll start with the West End of Alexandria near 395.

East Central Reston @ 7:30 AM. Approximately 7 inches on the ground and falling lightly. The snow has since increased in intensity to a more moderate rate. I will post more web cam pictures throughout the day.

Thanks! I'm in Florence, Alabama now and really miss home! These pics and the VDOT cams are the closest thing to snow I get anymore.

Oh please! Who'd want to see that! Besides, can anyone say "SHRINKAGE?!"

Nice, looks heavy though, snow here is more crystal/ice like.
Enjoy a day to just do nothing, stay safe! Merry Christmas..

Merry Christmas to you and yours as well! Actually, this storm the air temperatures are in the 20s, so the snow is indeed more of a dry/powdery variety. The last storm we had several weekends ago that dumped around 5 inches at my home was very wet and heavy (with gigantic snowflakes).

The snow is coming down heavily now again in an odd burst of sorts. Woo hoo!

Still looking at the traffic cams. I'm always amazed at the people who get out on 66 no matter how bad it is. I'm convinced they do it just to be able to say they did.
