Not great, but could be worse. So, the proposal is for teachers to receive step increases part way through the year and not a total pay freeze?

I guess when you live in the backyard of the Federal Government; it is difficult to realize that most people are taking hits a lot larger than that.

There will be no step or COLA for FCPS. So the salaries in Sept. 2008 = the July 2011 salaries. At this point I would take a delayed step increase.
