While I was out trying vainly to shake the snow from all my bushes, I started thinking how glad I was that I was here and able to deal with the problems of this blizzard. I'm glad I wasn't out of town, reading about the blizzard and worrying about my house.

But then I started wondering if that's how other people feel. So.... if you had your choice, where would you rather be today:

1. Would you rather be here (and able to deal with problems)... or
2. Would you rather be on vacation somewhere soaking up the sun, but unable to do anything but read about the blizzard?

My neighbors are starting their disney cruise today...left town early to beat the storm. I think people are going to start dumping snow in their driveway!

I personally will be heading to Hawaii next Sat, so this had better be gone, gone, gone!

This is one of the few advantages of being a renter. I am not worried about this house for a moment, because it isn't mine. And even if something happened to my possessions, so what as long as my family is safe? So I would be entirely happy in the Bahamas right now

My car is insured and in the parking garage, my condo is insured and rented and I'm leaving it in May. Give me the Bahamas!!!! I'd prefer Hawaii because of the women.

I'd rather be here, but I wouldn't want to be in the Bahamas anyway. We're not warm weather people. We even went skiing on our honeymoon!

Where's the choice of "rather be here, enjoying the snow"? I'd check that one!

LOL, I had a feeling I'd in in the minority on this one. And a tiny minority!

LOL, now that's what I call the spirit of a true snow bunny! Nice to hear there are people out there who are not only taking the snow in stride, but, in fact, are enjoying it. (But not me--LOL--the Bahamas are sounding better and better! )
