My husband and I will be moving somewhere in VA (this is where I will need your help) in August. I have been looking at Alexandria, Arlington and Springfield. I feel like I am all over the place because of how big the areas are.

You are going to have to look hard to a 3/2 with stainless/granite in that price range. I used the map search feature on Long and Fosters and found a few that you may want to consider but most I found in the area you were looking did not have stainless/granite in the kitchen.

I am a southern girl and I really didn't find any interest in living in the city either. I work in Fairfax but live in Gainesville (well, currently building a house there as I live in Aldie, VA) and I love it out there. It is peaceful and beautiful and I would highly recommend leaving further out to get away from it all versus leave in the city.
