I usually answer, or try to answer questions. I do, however, recognize how valuable everyone's contributions are here. I've learned lots, but can't point to any specifics.

Not to move to Huntington. Only problem was, I was already living there.

I shouldn't have taken my long C-D hiatus after I initially registered to rant and rave about the College Park area in '07.

The recommendations for which beach to visit. We just got back from a trip to Cape May and LOVED it! Thanks so much!

Glad to hear it! I'm sure I'm one of the ones who recommended Cape May - I've been going there every summer since I was a kid. It's a great place.

The post that listed all the local lakes that have swimming beaches is being much appreciated this summer.

Is there one whole thread with tips or is it from an assortment of forums?

An assortment of threads, all within this forum. Most of the tips listed so far seem to be ones that were posted in the last year.

We went to Lily Pons after reading about it here. I'm surprised I never knew about that place before. It's awesome and bigger than I thought it would be. Much bigger--that place has all sorts of lakes and gardens and places to walk. If you go to an event there, try to park at the store instead of at the event. That'll save you the parking fee, and the water lily gardens next to the store are worth seeing.

Leesburg Airshow. I can't believe I've lived here for so many years and never heard of it. And it's free.
