I feel the same way - can't point to specifics but have definitely learned a lot on this forum. My husband always teases me whenever I say "on the formum today, I learned that...." It's definitely a great place to get advice and learn about the area.

The "other" air and space museum, including the free parking times and...Costco beer. I have always loved Costco, but it never occurred to me to try their beer. Their Kirkland wines are great wines for the price too. And while we're on the subject of Costco, try their Marcona almonds. They are about 1/4 the price of everywhere else. Also, I have printed out all of the "what to do in D.C." threads and I keep a copy in our guest room with the other tourism related materials.

I like that idea! There used to be a thread called Have You Tried These Virginia Classics. That would be a good one to print out.
