Apartments near Falls Church and Vienna metro stations? (Arlington, Alexandria: apartment complex, rent)

Hi, I'm hoping the collective brainpower of the forum can help me.

After several years in the NVa area, I'm looking to move away from Alexandria. I looked at Arlington, but the rents there seem way out of my budget of $1,200 to $1,600. I am looking for a 1 bedroom.

So far, my best bets seem to be the Falls Church stations, Dunn Loring, and Vienna. Any suggestions as to which apartments I should look at in those areas?

I need to be close to a metro station (either walking distance or a shuttle from the apartment complex - please, no buses!).

I prefer newer buildings. I took a look at Tysons Glen and Cavalier Club, but both of those buildings are much, much older than I'm used to living in, and I just didn't feel comfortable there.

I need a place that accepts pets, and a place with a washer and dryer inside the unit. I had to deal with communal laundry facilities before and do not wish to do it again! I'd also like a place that has a controlled-access garage, preferably with free parking, but if the rent was low enough, I could deal with paying for a parking space.
