Are there any good Co-op Preschools in Sterling?

We have a great one here in Irvine that our 4yr. old is in.

We pay $145 a month, have to chip in $50-$100 here and there and my wife has to volunteer to be a teacher once a month but we really like the program.

Is there a co-op like that in Sterling? Like maybe near Claude Moore Park area?

I don't know of any in Sterling and couldn't find any via Google. However, there is a good cooperative preschool in Ashburn called Winnie the Pooh Preschool.

Yes, Winnie the Pooh is very highly regarded and there's a sign out front that they have openings for Fall 2010. I live right down the road and I'm hoping to send my kids there in 2011. It's about 6 miles or so from Claude Moore Park. Also, it's at a Baptist church, but it is not religious or affiliated with the church; they just rent the space from it.

The only other coop preschool I know of in this part of NoVA is Hunters Woods Preschool in Reston, which is a lot further from Sterling than Winnie the Pooh.

How about Classroom of Discovery in Sterling?

Any feedback on this school?

While researching your Sterling options (I already knew about Winnie the Pooh) I saw that Classroom of Discovery is recommended by Northern Virginia Magazine in their 2008 Top Preschools section. Frankly, as an Ashburn resident (next to Sterling) for several years I hadn't heard of it much but our local MOMS Club included it in their 2010 Preschool Forum spreadsheet. It looks to be a good school.
