The last day of school for students is now June 24. The state approved a waiver for the one day that Fairfax County had requested.

Woohoo! We have vacation plans on the 25th - now I don't have to change them or take my daughter out of school!

Great, I just wish there was some way to keep it a secret from middle and high school students!

The last day of school is number one for bus vandalism....that afternoon, there will be dozens and dozens of buses lined up at the garages for slashed seat estimates...I hope I'm not one of 'em! My bus looks better than the day I got it new 2 years ago...I hate having it torn up for no reason. The replacement upholstery never look as nice as the factory originals....

That's awful! I never thought about that. If I found out that my child (in elementary right now) ever did something like that, there would be h*** to pay.
