Thank you, almost make final decision to buy Whirlpools because Lowes provides installation, Lowes is selling Whirlpool. Home Depot is selling GE, it seems the saleman at Home Depot has more knowledge when we asked him the questions about softner, but they do not install it. We were told the installation is very simple because all the pipelines are already in house.

We just bought Whirlpool washer and dryer, cross my figures, do not have problems.

Is price/cost an issue?

I have a Kinnetico that came with my house. It's pretty sweet. The RO makes delicious water, too.

I have another question, where should RO be installed ? is it on the pipes to the kitchen sink and the fridger? is the softed water at your house tasted a bit salty ?
