Ever think there must be a better way than the Hammond Times, Post-Tribune and Craigslist to find a place to rent? As being a former renter and current landlord, I most certainly did because of the following. 1. The newpaper is so expensive for landlords to advertise that they will run an ad only when they have a vacancy. 2. If you are looking for a place to rent three months from now...today's newspaper is useless with no waiting list. 3. The newspaper does not offer virtual tours of available rentals.
