The last update in April 2018 stated that we could hear names of occupants in about 6-9 months...It’s been 9 months now so curious if we will hear anything soon.

Occupants for major Fountains project in Crown Point could be named in 6 to 9 months

Guessing interest in leasing space in the retail portion is lacking. There just really isn't that many retailers looking to add locations anytime soon. And if they are looking for locations, they are able to get into existing space in centers known for proven results at a lower price and in shorter timeframes.

Most of the retailers that can expand at the moment are already present in our market and don't need more local locations or are retailers that aren't going to be interested in being here.

Unless they can build the other parts of this project, I don't see it happening at the timeframe they were talking about.

I wonder if "The Farm" being ongoing that other retailers would wait to see what's going on there first before saying anything publicly. Not saying the Farm is sounding set up to be any sort of Outlet Mall type, but there may end up being a couple of spots for retail that could also be included in the Outlet Mall talks.

Thumbs up Update - Back on Track?

It looks like this project is back on track. With the COVID-19 pandemic and “retailpocalypse” in full effect the past couple of years, it seemed as if large new projects like these were going to be pushed to the wayside for an extremely long time. However, it looks like this will be back on track:
