From some casual searching on real estate listing sites, I’ve noticed that LOFS has a disproportionately high number of foreclosures and low list/sales prices compared to similar properties immediately outside of that community and this has been for a long time. Anyone have any insight on this? I’ve never really been a fan of LOFS as it overall just seems a little dumpy for a “gated community” and not very upscale but that is just my opinion. Anyone have more objective reasons to explain what is going on? I do know a couple people that have been trying to get out of LOFS but more so due to drama within the community and one who said it has gone a little downhill and they desire to move into Winfield proper. Thanks!

LOFS has always had an attitude problem. Turnover of homes is good for realtors and banks, not so much for the residents.
