Looks fantastic!! I'd totally go for that one. It's so close to downtown, you'll have to drive to a grocery though, but that's about it.

Great area! It's near both the Chicago Street Theatre & the YMCA ... and definitely walkable to downtown. Major bonus during Popcorn Fest!

I'm sure I mentioned it (don't want to look back at the thread) but I live in Valpo and my kids are in Valpo schools - if you have any questions, feel free to ask!

Had to run to the post office this afternoon so I took a drive past "your house" ... great block! The house is adorable from the outside and the homes around it are HUGE and beautiful.

I actually can't believe it hasn't sold yet.

I don't know about North Judson...you would drive a very long way for any job. Wanatah is close to Valpo jobs and still close to Westville. If you like the small town feel, I would also suggest Lowell. I grew up there and always felt very safe. I have family in Hebron and they seem to like their town.

I think you can find info on the Y costs on their website ... but I seem to remember when my family belonged it was 60/month for the entire family. Don't quote me, but I think that may be pretty close to the cost.

Valpo is extremely welcoming - at least that's what I've always found.

Good luck and please keep us updated!

I have lived in both Valparaiso Lowell, Indiana for many years. These are both very safe towns. Lowell is around 7800 people with small business and 2 grocery stores and a railroad station. A nice clean town.

Valparaiso is a much bigger town with a town square and just about every business you can think of. This is a very clean, safe town also. All kinds of discount stores too.

Both towns are close together and very close to Westville.
