How ugly is this place? My dad discribed it as "The Armpit of North America." Does any body have any pictures of Gary?

Is there really a point in bashing a city that is already down and out? Everyone knows that Gary has had much better days and is extremley crime ridden.

Yea, there are plenty of threads already started regarding the sad state of Gary's affairs. This, however, is a great weblog of photos.http://www.forbidden-places.net/urba...ana-ghost-town

What would be nice is some before and after photos. That may enlighten a few people. The "forbidden places" site pics are telling but they dont show what those buildings used to look like.
