Don't worry about NOT buying things. With rent, a possible job at UH (Manoa?), and possible baby on board, you won't have time or money to EVEN worry about a frickin' PS3 or Wii.

Running the gauntlet of driving to UHM, paying for parking, cost of lunch everyday, then get home at 7pm, you'd be crawling just to kiss your wifey good night!

I just moved back to Honolulu from 1.5 years in the mainland. Just started work last week. My commute from Hawaii Kai to nimitz is about an hour. I just lost 2 hours. Per day. Every day. In my life. Good luck.

Oh, and I'm assuming that you chose Waikele because your wife works around that area. If not then search again, try pad-mapper, because Waikele is the cookie-cutter, heck, anything past Moanalua is cookie-cutter mindless wasteland-boonie-suburbia.

Everything ELSE that is good about Oahu is not located in Waikele, Kapolei, Millilani, Pearl City, or Aiea.

Agree about WINK. Certainly adds life to the Hawaii Forum.
