I like the paradise is in the eyes of the beholder approach. What one considers paradise is anothers hell. Though, I love it here in "paradise" I never preach the wonders of living here, nor the downfalls. I say to each his own. Everyone has a different view.

Your paradise is out there, you just have to go find it!
I agree with Timbo. I have people in a my own family that strongly disagree about where paradise is. To some it is Alaska, to others Hawai'i etc... In fact, I would say that even in the state of Hawai'i many would disagree about where paradise is. Is paradise Puna or Kona? Is paradise Waikiki or Hale'iwa? Maui or Ni'ihau? .....

I for one, am sure some find "paradise" here, I would say its not Oahu, the outer islands offer so much more of that description. Oahu= Expensive over the top prices for what you get, horrible traffic, to the point you have to plan your route just to get around, absolutely no parking enjoy hunting for that spot for 10 minutes. People running for public office that want to derail "rail" with no viable option as an alternative. The people are friendly but don't know how to drive, I shipped my Harley here but am weary of riding it, very unsafe. When you go to a furniture store don't ask how much is it, ask when does it come in. My experience here has been mixed some good, some bad, but if you want "paradise" look to the outer islands.
