Hawaii Breaking News - Pearl Harbor Shipyard plans to hire 731 workers - Hawaii News - Honolulu Star-Advertiser
"We've got a little over 900 people at the shipyard who are retirement eligible, so that's a lot of folks who could be going out the door.
Anyone looking for job. Check out USAJobs.gov.

Looking at a increase work load in the next few years.

just an fyi, During the 2013 furloughs, the shipyard didn't shut down like the rest of the gov't non-essentials.

Non-essential people were sent home by the Shipyard. But the Shipyard (Officially) did not shut down on the projects. So you were saved because of national security.
