1) Jump off the rock at Waimea Bay!!
2) Have a drink at La Mariana's off of Sand Island Access Rd (on the Marina)
3) See the sunset from the North Shore
4) Walk through the indoor market in Chinatown
5) Hang out at Duke's on Waikiki, dance a little, then take a swim!

but also include the Missouri and the Pearl Harbor boatride/tour. The Missouri is particularly "chicken skin". Have a great time!

mai tais at House without a Key as the sun sets

see the amazing views from Tantalus/Round Top and/or the Pali lookout

a day on the North Shore, including a beach and a stroll through Haleiwa, and watching the sunset from the beach or a catamaran

the farmer's market at KCC if you're here on a Saturday

Kapiolani Park - esp during one of the festivals that are held there (eg the Okinawa Festival in Sept)
An outdoor concert at the Waikiki Shell
Hike up Diamond Head
Snorkel in the lagoons at KoOlina Resort (esp good place to take the kids)
All day BBQ at Magic Island (by Ala Moana)...swim, eat, then watch the Friday night fireworks over Wakiki

Does Waikiki have fireworks every Friday night? Who pays for that?

Hi Bob,
They did when I lived there! Every Friday, right over Waikiki. Not a massive show but nice. Not sure who pays: taxes, tourists, everyone!
