I thought this would be best answered in the Ocala area. Im former military and currently work overseas. I would like to move in between Orlando and Daytona due to the activities and water sports in that area. Is it still possible to live in those areas and be a FWC officer? I understand FWC places you at the needs of the state, but is it possible? Are there alot of FWC officers in that area. It would be a huge pay cut, but I think I would have great job satisfaction. I have been working out of country for far to long.

I hope you are able to find what you are looking for after you come home. I don't know the answer to your question, but here is the link to the State job website. You can search for FWC jobs, but I also saw openings for Forest Rangers, etc. Good Luck. Stay safe.
