Are there any flowers that will bloom all winter in FL? We have pansies bloom all winter here in TN. I would like to have one or two pots of beautiful colorful flowers on our RV lot. Suggestions anyone?

Default flowers in winter

Winter hardy pansies top the list. The small tea roses seem to bloom twice a year and are currently blooming now. Stop into a garden center for their recommendations or talk to a certified garden specialist at a Lowes.

I know of the garden centers in Wal*Mart, Lowe's etc in The Villages.... but is there any Garden Center you would recommend there or in Ocala?

Closer to The Villages, I think Porter's Nursery might still be open. If so, check them out.

Porters was a really nice place but they closed a little over a year ago. The building was empty as of last March.

That place does look really good and they most likely would be more knowledgeable then the workers at regular stores with garden centers. This will save us a lot of time running around looking for a good place to buy flowers.

Do the Bougainvilleas bloom all winter? I know the mini roses do as we had some in a pot last winter down there in Ocala. When we go home we planted them in the garden here and they bloomed all summer. They just went dormant now with the freezing cold.
