How and who do we report SPAM posts to on this Forum? I see no contact information to reach one of the moderators.

You report spam by clicking on the scales symbol on your upper right corner, on your post.
Or you can contact any of the moderators by direct message.

You click the Trianglur icon (red border with an "!" in the middle) to the right of the "Scale" icon to report a post, hence the phrase "Report Post" when the mouse is hovered over the icon.

Sorry about my mistake! Don is very correct.

The one I was pointing to is the one to give somebody rep, for a good post or because you agree with it, or any other positive .

It is the triangle that you report spam, or advertising or personal attacks or anything that is against the terms of service.(TOS)

Thank you all very much. I didn't notice that little icon at the top.

I have another question about reporting spam. When you click on the red triangle, a text box to report spam opens up and below it there is a message that asks members to report spam only once. Last night a spammer was flooding all different forums with 70+ slight variations on the same "generic Viagra" advertising message (in Spanish). I reported each of the messages until it was so late, and I was so tired, that I had to stop. Should I have reported only one message even though the spammer was doing it in lots of different forums? I'd like to apologize to the moderators if I inadvertently spammed them with all those reports as that was not my intention.

Would only report it once - like it says, just let them know if the spam has been posted on other state forums - personally, I wouldnt re-post and apologize to the mods, I'm sure they understand. It's a shame the spam doesnt even stop on Christmas

Thank you for all your reports. Even along the Christmas season, these people keep at it!
When you see something like the Spam you are talking about just report it once and on the comment write that it is on several forums so that we are aware of it.

Enjoy City- Data!

You really only need to send one SPAM report per forum, not each post. Yes, it is annoying when these jerks flood the forums to post their spam. They do get banned, but tend to pop up from time to time using a different log-in to post more garbage.

Keep in mind that each report is evaluated by a live person and there are times that the mods are not avaiable at the time you report the issue or are working on something else at the time. If you report it, it will get the proper attention.

Thanks to everyone for clarifying the procedure. Since there are many different moderators taking care of the various forums, I wasn't sure whether I should send each mod a report or if just one report would be enough.
