Hi there, I'm a sociology student living in Ocala, and I have to do a grant paper and thesis as my final exams. I'm a recluse and nobody is ever outside long enough to bother them anyway, so I'd like to ask a few questions. For one, I'd like to know the demographics aside from the crunch that the main site gives me, things like politics, religion, etc. I'd also like to know what the general society behaves like, whether or not it's worth the research (for the record, I know it is, but for the sake of the assignment I have to convince the 'grant board' that it's worth their time.), and why people behave the way they do. I'd also like to know if there's any actual merit to the mud I see slung around about the town, and if it's not just a bunch of old conservative tools complaining that not everyone is rich and white. If you can get back to me within 6 hours, that would be most optimal. Thank you.

Most of the mud slinging about Ocala is from folks who either don't live here or haven't lived in the area very long. I have lived here since 1980 and I like the area very much. All communities have dark sides if you look close enough. I feel that Ocala has a rich diversity and it is a very pleasant community. I wish you best wishes in your study. If you have more questions I can assist you with, send me a private message.

GET OUT OF THE HOUSE AND TALK TO PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!
The people who can intelligently answer your questions are working in law enforcement, city and county government, etc.
