Hi does anyone live in Legacy of Leesburg if so how do you like living there. What about finding jobs? How close are you to shopping and doctors. How is the area in general?

Hi - we will be moving to Legacy in April 2015. I've read lots of good things about Legacy and love the nature in the community. We have talked with one of our future neighbors and they shared that of course there are 2 grocery stores close, but for other shopping we could drive to the Villages. My husband and I drove to the hospital to see how far it is and it's not bad. Very close, with doctors offices located close to the hospital. I hope this helps. Oh, also there is a Facebook page that you can join if you are interested in the wildlife around the community, it's called Legacy Nature Trails.

Do homes in Legacy of Leesburg have lawn maintenance included in their HOA?

Legacy of Leesburg has moved into our #1 spot for consideration. We're making a trip soon to view some homes, but like what we've learned so far! Love the natural preserve over a golf course setting. We're in a rural, wooded setting now and thought I might miss seeing wildlife, so the preserve setting might be just the ticket.

Any Legacy owners here that can give some further insight into living at Legacy, specifically water bills and energy efficiency; perhap other downsides? BTW I don't FB, so that's not an option. Thanks for any replies!
