There's a definite deficit of posts on City Data from people in the Ocala area of Florida. I realize its a smaller area then Orlando or Miami, but we need greater input from City Data readers who live there. How come there's not a separate area of City Data just devoted to the Villages since its so big? They have several web sites with blogs so they may not bother with City Data anyways but you never know. Will be moving in less then a week to the Bliss Haven subdivision in Ocklawaha. Any input from people who either live there or others who reside close to Lake Weir would be appreciated.

Then how come your the one and only person to write a response? I feel like Rodney Dangerfield. I don't seem to be getting much respect! Or responses!

The Villages don't need a forum on City-Data. They have an entire forum dedicated to the Villages. It's active and has thousands of members, and they talk about things that are of interest to them, without having to wade through topics that aren't interesting to them.

I don't post that much because we only spend 4 to 5 months in the Ocala area.

We're looking to move to Ocala soon - visiting Stone Creek this week in fact. Can someone recommend a good Mexican restaurant in Ocala?
