are there really that many cougars in Ocala ? My aunt who is 68 is looking to move either there or near tampa to be near her sisters and her daughter .I hope she does not have much trouble getting into a home she really wants a mobile home in a park but I'm not too sure about those and now I hear about cougars whoa ...

I'm sorry, I was referring to the abundance of aggressively promiscuous older, single/widowed women living in The Villages, in the post I made about "cougars."

Ive had very little problems with mosquitos, but when I moved here I made it a point to stay away from water. This is the first year in a long time that I even noticed a few of them at dusk, but we had so much rain this summer. Other than right at dusk, I have no problems with them here.

They've been bad here east of Ocala in the ONF. Some evenings they're so bad we can't sit outside. We're staying in an RV park for the winter.
