Before I take the decision to move to Ocala there were other places to choose. Maybe St. Pete, Largo, Fort Myers, Lakeland, Winter haven etc. I said to my wife that I'm going to take a little vacations by my self to explore Florida. After days driving in a rent car I found a perfect paradise in the middle of the state called Ocala. Is simply the best, a beautiful place to wake up every morning and to move with my family. The people here are very friendly and is in the real middle of Florida. Ocala is simply the best

John Travolta has a home in Ocala.

I live 25 minutes from Ocala and travel out there often for shopping. It is a nice area but is busy with traffic.

Regarding traffic, after living in Chicago and Atlanta, I think I can handle Ocala traffic LOL

If you think that there's a lot of traffic in ocala, you need to go to Tampa one day at 5:00P.M. I never find a bad traffic area in ocala. Driving in Ocala is just like sailing. Relax

I've been in Ocala and certainly is a beautiful place with good people. At least one of the last American corners of the state.

What about the job market in Ocala?

Iwas living in Puerto Rico working in a hospital. my salary was a mess 5.75 p/h as a register nurse and my wife is a nurse too. Puerto rico is one of the most expensive place to live if you work. One of the things that north american did't know is that 68% of puertorican family live with federal helps and don't want to works. For me and my family its so hard work day and night for a mess. here in Ocala my life goes very nice and our salary is great.
