OP, keep in mind that your already missed the homestead exemption filing period for 2018 and will be eligible for 2019. I suggest you file ASAP to be qualified.

We are getting ready to move to FL so I just checked into this. Just the eye exam is required, no written or driving test as long as you have a clear license. If you have restrictions on your license or anything comes up when they run it, then they may require you to take the full test to get a DL there. Mine is clear so I'm not worried about it.

I think all that is on the vision is peripheral, reading the letters to prove you have the minimal vision required to pass, with or without correction and I believe they require you to take a sign test as part of the vision exam like they do here in MO if the info the online is correct.

You can find free ones to take online to get an idea of which ones are on there, there were several signs we don't have as part of ours here so it was worth checking for me, but I knew plenty to pass since we travel a lot.
