Just so we're clear, are you moving to Silver Springs, or Silver Springs Shores? Sometimes people will say Silver Springs when they're actually going to be in the Shores, thinking it's all the same. Wish I could help you more, I don't know much about that area. Looks like Ocala Electric might be your provider. Do you have an address to where you're moving yet? If so, ask google. Plug in your address and the words "electric service" or something like that, it should pull up the name.

Keep in mind, if you are in the city limits, you will likely only have Ocala Utilities available. SECO is only available in select areas outside of the Ocala area, see the coverage map in the prior post.

You don't get to chose your electric provider here. Having lived in Dallas, I am familiar with the concept, but it ain't happening here. You need to live in an area served by SECO to be a customer, and Silver Springs/Silver Springs Shores are not in SECO's service area.
