Hello from Wisconsin. My wife and I are planning to 'WINTER" in the area from January through March of each year. We have visited Dunnellon and appreciate the quiet atmosphere. Are there similar small towns such as Dunnellon that are reasonable-priced and are near bass fishing lakes and golf courses? The people in this particular town are very much like those folk that we live with in Green bay. Very nice forum...you are full of information with good ideas! Thank you

I live outside of Dunnellon and I do not think there is a nicer area to live in, we have everything a big city has to offer but entertainment and traffic, so if you want entertainment go to Ocala. We have nice golf courses,(if you need to partner up one day e mail me hubby would like a reason to play golf other than Sunday)LOLWe have great shops,a beautiful river that is rated the cleanest in the state and we are very friendly. I work at the Winn Dixie in the Deli stop by and say hi.

John,

I have a few copies of a publication that came out in the Ocala Star Banner which is called "Living Here". It has a lot of good info in it that you may be interested in. If you'd like a copy just contact me directly with a mailing address and I'll put one in the mail. I'd also love to help you find a home when you are ready. I work and specialize in SW Marion County.
