I will be there in July. I have outdoor dogs, any advice? I am a self employed full-time photographer? I will be looking for freelance work. Is there a fair econimy there? are there bussiness opening, closing??

Rentals range from about $550.00 per month to about $900.00 per month depending upon the area and the amount of bedrooms. If your dogs are use to being outside, you will need fencing. Marion County has lease laws. The unemployment rate is currently at 10 percent as many businesses have had cut backs and several shops have had to close. That however does not mean that thriving businesses or opportunity is non-existent. There is plenty to do and see in Ocala. And there certainly are plenty of entrepreneurs in this area.
