The Gentle Barn in CA learned about the terrible conditions of this shelter and were told the shelter was being shut down. They flew to PA, drove to OH to rescue 10 of the dogs there. A lot of us have been donating money to help care for those dogs and we all thought they were shutting down the shelter. We just found out they are still taking dogs and have them sitting in snow and not being cared for properly. There's info about this on Facebook, if anyone cares. If you are an animal lover and live in that area, they are trying to get people to call the local news station so they report on it again and also demonstrate outside the shelter so they get closed and stop abusing animals.
