I just moved back to Ohio after being gone for almost 20 years. We have yet to eat at Mr. Heros. My dh thinks, I am crazy because I had been talking about Mr. Heros for quite some time. One reason, we haven't ate there yet is that I am afraid of being disappointed. I am wondering if it was good because I was a kid at the time! We keep getting coupons in the mail so I guess we need to go just to see.

I'm not sure Steve's is still there. My brother-in-law who had went there a couple years ago was told there was a big problem with prostitution there on Lorain and it was affecting the business. Yeah they were good hotdogs especially with the slaw. Mr. Hero's...haven't had one in years. But then when I go to visit I honestly never noticed.

When we moved form DC to PA, I was thrilled to see there was a Bob Evans in our little town...I needed to get my sausage gravy fix! It's so bad for you but sooooo good!

You guys don't have Bob Evan's in Alaska (assuming you live in Alaska) ? I thought they were world wide...there's even a Bob Evan's in Hawaii.

Yes I live in Alaska, am in the lower 48 right now but heading back to Alaska in a few weeks. No, there is no Bob Evans in Alaska; we have Denny's which is pretty popular and IHOP.

Default Old post but fun

My family planning Mr hero , for tonights dinner , we lost the take-menu
so did a web search for Mr. Hero's site .
your post on Mr. Hero's and Steve's Hotdogs posted on City - Data
caught my eye .
Mr. Hero's still the same , and more grown -up selections.
This Month's Special 10 " Roman Burger for $ 5.00 bucks , make it a combo for 2 bucks more .

Steve's Lunch still has the Lorain Avenue location same o same o ,I bet
if you ate in , the table /booth you sat at is still there.Recently they opened a new location named Steve's Diner open 24 hours in the City of Brooklyn in Biddulph Plaza Same dogs and slaw , hell some of the workers from the other location now work at the new place.
