Hello everyone! My boyfriend and I are thinking about moving to Ohio from Buffalo, NY and the front runners at the moment are Sandusky and Cincinnati. Sandusky, mainly because it is so close to our family, and because I have vacationed there for the past five years and I like it a lot, and Cincinnati, because it is so different and would be a nice change.

What I need information on, is employment. My boyfriend and I both have a lot of experience in the human services field. I have been working with developmentally disabled twenty-somethings for almost ten years. He has also done this, and is looking for other jobs in this field such as child protective services, or counseling. How are these areas for these fields? Also, can anyone tell me some companies that deal with the developmentally disabled population. Thank you!

No contest--Cincinnati. Its MSA is almost twice that of Buffalo (along with numerous big-city amenities) and the job openings in your fields would be much more. You will probably receive many helpful responses about your particular job concerns if you post on the "Cincinnati" forum.
