Hi!

We're from Toledo, OH. My husband has an offer on both Hillsboro, OH and Roseburg, OR (both small towns). Both offers are great but we're confused on which place would be better to raise a family(we have a 10-month-old baby). (better public school system, area, diversity etc...)

Any inputs/infos about the place would be much appreciated!

Thanks.

Did I read that right....Roseburg, OR - as in Oregon?

If so, I'd opt for Oregon any day over Ohio. Just my personal opinion. As for schools there, try posting a request for info in the Oregon forum.

I was a Senior at Hillsboro last year and just got my diploma. So as far as schools, I woul give them at Hillsboro an A+. Hillsboro City Schools are in the process of building new school for all of the students (K-12). The city also (which is really nice in my opinion) had a new bowling alley built, which if your husband likes to go bowling, would be perfect for him. The hydroplane races on Rocky Fork lake a nice to go and see when the happen in September. Anyways good luck and happy deciding.

Good choice! That's what I would have done - especially after having lived in Ohio for so long.
