How are you guys feeling about getting cooler temps that rarely happens this early during late summer. I am so used to dealing with 80's for the high sometimes 90's and 60's to 70's for the lows. This year I am enjoying the cooler fall like weather. Since Fall is my favorite time of the year where all I want to do is go for a nice scenery drive normally to Amish Country.

Now that I live within several minutes to the trails I can walk or bike to enjoy the fall scenery. Also I found out that by mid week upper Michigan will get some dusting of snow already.

How about Kicking Horse in British Columbia Rocky Mountians they got hit with several inches of snow in 24 hours. It happened sometime last week. So that tells me winter is coming just like they say on Game of Thrones.

I was sick of the heat by the end of July. This weather is what I call perfect. T-shirt during the day and a sweatshirt at night. No furnace and no AC needed.

Agreed. September and October are my absolute favorite months of the year.

I am enjoying it now. I had to be at work for a 4 hour meeting from 8am to 12pm. That screwed up my sleep schedule because I work 7pm to 7am Thursday through sat an every other Sunday. I get up early Mondays to enjoy my day doing things then I stay up the next 2 nights before I go back to work. I only had 2 hours of sleep and man I was drop dead tired during the pointless meeting.

I came home from the meeting and I went back to bed for a few hours. I threw on my flannel pj bottoms, long sleeve t-shirt and doubled up the blanket. I did not want to climb out of bed.

Hi all--

I'm more a fan of spring than fall but I'll take it regardless. I just vividly remember a two week stretch of 95-100+ degree high temperatures during July and having most of my plans completely ruined because I'd break a sweat just going outside to get the mail.

Now - spring and fall - is my outdoors season. Biking, bonfires, and especially grilling.

This month isn't that non-typical. It feels so "extremely" fall like because of the miserably hot early onset summer we just had. In past years we've had frosts in early September. This is moderate and average, and quite welcom.

Yeah, the first half of September, at least for Columbus, if it continued, would've ended up one of the warmest Septembers on record. The last half is obviously going to be much cooler, so it'll probably end up around normal.

Truthfully... IT SUCKS!!!!!! Honest to God the top of my windshield, and the top of my back window had ice on it yesterday morning! Then again I'm never quite ready for cooler weather, shorter days, and gray skies. I hope this fall, winter and spring are as mild as the last one, but somehow I have a feeling we're going to pay for it being so mild last year.
