Hi! I joined up a long time ago, and then forgot I did! (I'm good at that ) So, I'm back trying again. I live in Buckland, OH and am trying to find the history of a Methodist church that used to be in town. It wasn't built here, but moved in from Union Center. My problen now is, I forgot to write down where I found the initial info. Where ever I found it, it told how they moved the building and what a job it was. Here is what I do have:
Methodist church
from Unio Center to Buckland
in 1907
at some point they had to cut the church in half
they also had to wait till the river froze to get across
I don't even know where to begin.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks so much!
leann

You're best bet would probably be contacting someone at: Home | Auglaize County Historical Society

Does the church still exist? If so, what is it currently known as?

Thans for the tip, I'll try that.
No. It was torn down late '60s or so.
