I am having quite the difficult time finding a house outside of the Youngstown city limits, the suburbs of Youngstown to be more specific. Can anyone help with a decent realtor? I have tried a couple that have not contacted me back and have yet to get a decent response off of craigslist also! Lol it is very frustrating so any help or advice is much appreciated. I would prefer to not live in an apartment but will if I have to. Thanks!I'm looking to spend around 1200 or so.

Howard Hanna and Burgan seem to have most of the properties around here. They might be a good place to start if you haven't contacted them already.

Ok, you're looking for rentals, my bad! Check out the Vindicator, there might be some listings in there for houses to rent or drive around and see if you see anything you like. You can usually find some deals that way.

If you're looking in Trumbull County check out TribToday.com - News, Sports, Jobs, Community Information - Tribune Chronicle - Warren, OH or contact Northwoods Realty, they are by far the most popular in Trumbull County. I've heard lots of complaints about Howard Hanna in Trumbull County.............

I second Trumbull County. I like several suburbs in the county.

Some places that seem very nice are Canfield, Cortland, Howland, Salem all seem nice. I am new to the area - or I will be, as of tomorrow.

We are moving to Warren and we like our area, but there is a part that I'm not so fond of.

Northwoods also has a lot of listings in Trumbull.

I also looked in Boardman which has some very nice older homes and a pretty historic district. I went to a little consignment shop that was near a lovely 1920s subdivision.

Trying to remember the name of the subdivision and the resale shop but I'm drawing a blank.

Perhaps some real Buckeyes can give me some help here.

Sheena, you're thinking of Forest Glen. I know that consignment shop of which you speak, an ex of mine used to live above it. I forget its name, though.
