I've read polls that say he wasn't the pick against Mccain, which still isn't a good choice but anyway. Do Ohioans actually like our president? What are you opinions Ohioans?

Mostly we do. Ohio voted for him twice.

Obama 50.1%
Romney 48.2%

I don't think that is "mostly". Maybe a slight edge.

From Ohio (not from Mansfield). Didn't vote for Obama, or Romney.

Yes I actually do. And to break the stereotype, no I am not now, nor have I ever been in a union. Although I am all for them.

In 2016 I hope to vote for Hillary Rodham Clinton.

There were a lot of things that made people think Obama had no chance of re-election, either.

What exactly is the purpose of this thread? Anyone who hasn't been living under a rock understands the country is extremely divided right now, with no middle ground. There aren't too many places left which are decidedly "liberal" or "conservative", with more people relocating than ever, however those who have their individual political POV are extremely reluctant to change it, given how poisonous and uncompromising politics have become in this country.

We did our homework. Obama is not liked in this state. The foreigners and democrats voted for him. Cleveland, (which is a rapidly falling union area) was heavy on Obama. All rural areas do not care for him.
