^ on the inside, a little bit, but I'm not sure if you notices the biggest difference... Cleveland's is almost entirely underground. ( not sure if this is a pro or con)

Would anyone happen to know which of the three cities has the most hotel rooms available for the GOP Convention?

Probably Columbus or Cleveland, but I'm not actually 100% sure.

Regionally, I still think Cleveland...meaning Cleveland-Akron-Canton...even Sandusky.

Columbus is a bit on an island when it comes to outlying communities. Unless the bid included pulling from Dayton.

Sounds like finalists will be announced by the end of this week:

Hopes high for a Republican convention visit to Cleveland

It all depends on how large the radius is. Cleveland and Columbus each have around 13-14 "downtown" hotels (Cincy has about 8). Downtown Cleveland will have 6 more that I know of (W, Le Meridien, Kimpton, Drury, The 9, CC Hilton) within the next 2-3 years. If you go out, say 60 miles or so, I think Cleveland has the most (something like 400 hotels). Regardless, I think the convention planners have agreed that all 3Cs have or will have whatever is required.

Interesting if that "early buzz" is anywhere close to reality... LV, St. Louis, Cleveland and Columbus. LV is the outlier in that group.

^Really? I consider LV a front runner due to Sheldon Adelson's influence, who was the top donor to the Romney campaign:

Money men: Who are top 5 donors to Romney?

EDIT: Or is that what you mean...outlier as in high chance of winning.

LV would definitely have the entertainment part down, and they definitely have the hotel rooms and convention space. But it's also a city with the opposite moral view that the current GOP seems to love shoving down everyone's throat these days. It's also the only one not in the Midwest, and the weather would be pretty awful at the time the convention would be. Of course, this list may be completely bunk in the first place.

Politics and morals? Interesting.

Vegas would be such a lame choice. Personally, I wonder why they haven't already chosen an Ohio location, given the state's absolute necessesity to any candidate in national elections. You'd think they'd want to get some recognition in Ohio.
