Seems to be all over the place. Voted Blue for President a few times, and yet a Red Governor (that looks like he may be re-elected.)

Thoughts?

All speculation of course, but I'd see more purple.

Why? As the Democrats continue to appeal more to millennials and minorities, they will appeal less to blue-dog populist Democrats with conservative values. So as the state loses more blue dog Democrats in Youngstown, for instance, more will be gained in the 3C's

I would like to see more support for the Libertarian Party but the way things are going Ohio is becoming more blue as the GOP goes off the deep end with their anti choice, gay bashing, drug warrior agenda of intolerance.

Of course in Warren County where I live trained chimps with an R next to their name will always win.

The older I get the more libertarian I get. No hope for a third party ever doing anything. The best bet is to try to get the tea party/religious right to form their own party and let the libertarian republicans take over the party.

When I lived in NE Ohio the trained chimps had a D next to their name.
