Yeah, sure it isn't.

Are Americans more mentally ill than all other Western nations? If so, why? If not, why are their gun death rates so much lower?

If you care about basic human rights but are afraid to critique the Muslim religion you're a hypocrite. Sharia law is no joke. It's just never going to mesh with Western values.
Basic math says that the threat of terrorism is FAR less than that from native-born citizens. Or lightning. Or shark attacks. Or toddlers. In the last decade, hundreds of thousands of immigrants/refugees from Muslim-majority nations were allowed into the US. You could count the number of them involved in terrorism on a few fingers. The rate is MUCH lower than 1/100.

Being for basic human rights wouldn't support a position that bans refugees from war-torn nations because they may share a religion with some fanatics. That standard wouldn't exactly exclude Christians, would it.

Christians in Kentucky and Georgia just passed anti-gay legislation. When Donald Trump bragged about sexual assault, you all rushed to his defense and said it was totally fine. The recently-released budget would cut funding for poor, elderly, protections against pollution that would otherwise sicken and kill citizens, the proposed healthcare bill would cut services and millions of people would lose their insurance, etc. Perhaps less overt in their radicalism, but I don't exactly see American conservatives as being their moral superiors, honestly, so maybe they shouldn't throw stones until getting their own houses in order.
And I don't actually think most people going on and on about Sharia law actually know what it even means.

I don't understand people like you that put non-citizens ahead of the safety of American citizens. And stop calling Islam a religion, it's an ideology that has serious problems. Regarding Sharia law, it's practice by millions of Muslims degrades women and does not give them equal rights of a man in a lot of countries in the Middle East.

I put doing the right thing above arbitrary nationality. Being a decent human being is more important to me than waving a flag.
Um, Islam is a religion, same as Christianity or any other. You don't have to agree with what the teachings are, but it's still a religion.
Women are not treated equally under any religion in any country anywhere. There are only varying degrees of inequality. The Right's insertion of government into the ability of women to make choices about their own bodies in the US, for example, is not exactly progressive.

All the terror attacks in this country since the beginning of the year have been from racist white men.

Right. The issue is why do Americans kill each other at such high rates compared to other countries. It's not the guns, it's the people using guns to kill one another. No one wants to discuss that aspect of the gun ''problem''.
