Does anyone beleive polls?
According to all the polls on election day, Hillary was supposed to be our president.
A new order is coming , and will be more specific so as not to upset all the cry babies who dont want to come together and give this ptesident a chance.
He has moved in the correct direction on illegal aliens, terrorist countries and he has a good idea for jobs creation through infrastructure.
I think its refreshing we have a non-politician president that isnt apologetic and throws political correctness out the window.
I want all future immigrants heavily vetted, especially terror sponsored countries that follow islamic ideology (islam is not a religion for all you infidels that dont know that).

Do you mean non-college-educated white women voted overwhelming for Trump, because overall Clinton won a good majority of women?

<<Women did vote overwhelmingly to elect Clinton, but it was white women who helped hand Trump the presidency, according to Edison national election poll. Overall, 54% of women voted for Clinton, much higher than the 42% of women who voted for Trump.>>

Do you forget that Clinton won the popular vote by over 2 percentage points? Someone voted for her.

Food for thought:

Canada opens its hearts to Syrian refugees - CBS News

As someone who believes that the world and even the U.S. is overpopulated, I'm not fond of much of current U.S. immigration policy, especially given the great numbers of American currently suffering economically. The failure of the Democrats to recognize this resentment among its base, often centered on immigration, was one of the pillars of Trump's victory IMO. Yet, it's ironic and not well understood that Democrats supported comprehensive immigration reform which would have greatly limited illegal immigration while the Republicans, especially in the House, have opposed it.

Yet it's hard not to admire the hard-working nature of many immigrants. Canada, unlike the U.S., cherry picks immigrant populations, focusing on skilled workers and entrepreneurs. There might be much more support for U.S. immigration if it were restructured along Canadian lines rather than using a lottery.

What bothered me about the Trump travel ban was that it was a sledge hammer than unnecessarily impacted many persons, initially even green card holders.

So you seem to be in favor of taking it to an outright religious test saying this ban wasn't enough? The Constitution and immigration law be damned?

Why does the right wing only care about the constitution and freedom being messy and not free when it talks about bear arms?

Maybe you haven't realized it yet but, short of a green card, they don't FALL under the protections of the Constitution. Immigration law? Can't say. I suspect that for all the rights you THINK they have, there should be a class somewhere outlining what a NON US citizen is "entitled to".....

did ya' think you can walk into Russia, Canada, and China just because??? Why don't you spend your energies on those countries who clearly abuse (outside of Canada) human rights issues which if you will notice, we don't.

Get this clearly. They do NOT have US citizen's rights. They are NOT citizens...yet....until they are, those rights do NOT apply....ergo the problems south of the border, capiche?

<<An internal medicine resident at the Cleveland Clinic who is a citizen of Sudan said Saturday that she was detained in New York when she was trying to return to Ohio after a trip to Saudi Arabia and was put on a plane back to the Middle East. Dr. Suha Abushamma, who has worked at the Clinic since July on a work visa, left the U.S. one day after an executive order issued by President Donald Trump. The executive order included a crackdown on immigration from refugees and citizens of seven majority-Muslim countries.
Abushamma, 26, of Cleveland Heights, lived in Saudi Arabia before being hired at the Clinic. She is a Muslim woman and a citizen of Sudan....
A federal law enforcement official told The Associated Press that Trump's executive order covered legal permanent residents, or green card holders of the U.S., and those with visas who were out of the United States after Friday.
Shortly after Abushamma was placed on a plane to Saudia Arabia, U.S. District Judge Ann Donnelly issued an order barring U.S. border agents from removing anyone who arrived in the U.S. with a valid visa from the seven countries listed in the executive order. It also covered anyone with an approved refugee application.

Cleveland Clinic resident from Sudan says she was denied entry back into U.S. after Middle East trip | cleveland.com

How many believe that President Trump's executive order banning entry into the U.S. of citizens of seven majority-Muslim countries was poorly conceived to the extent it covered permanent residents and those with work visas who had been living in the U.S. but were caught outside the country?

Both Ohio Senators Rob Portman and Sherrod Brown have spoken out against the new ban.

This Trump policy is likely to be disastrous for U.S. foreign policy. E.g., one of the included countries with a travel ban to the U.S. is Iraq, where the U.S. has fought a costly war, currently has thousands of troops stationed, and where we are attempting to offset Iranian influence. Trump has just marginalized the considerable number of U.S. allies in Iraq and likely negated much of the American sacrifices made on behalf of Iraq.

It also likely will impact exports from Ohio, as many of the countries included in the ban are significant purchasers of U.S. products. E.g., Iran recently made a massive purchase of U.S. Boeing planes, whose engines might be supplied by GE's engine business, headquartered in Cincinnati.

Trump's executive order excluded Saudi Arabia and Egypt, which have substantial terrorist movements, but where Trump has business interests.

<<The executive order excluded some countries that have been tied to terrorism, including Saudi Arabia and Egypt. As a business executive, Trump has formed companies there. As noted by NPR and others, the 19 terrorists in the Sept. 11 attacks were from Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Lebanon and the United Arab Emirates, which are not on the president's no-entry list. >>
