Any chance we could get our own sub-forum for Warren-Youngstown-Columbiana ?

Agreed. A Mahoning valley forum is needed.

36 days until this question got a response and you think they need a sub forum?

A forum for the people that left the Valley would probably be more popular.

The Mahoning Valley is a major area of northeastern Ohio not specifically covered by this forum.

Years ago there were a lot of posts about the Valley. They wanted one then, didn't happen. Now there aren't that many unless someone sees low cost houses and asks a few questions.

Why don't you do a search and see how many posts there are about the Mahoning Valley.

When this request was made a few years ago, they said the determination was made based on number of threads specific to that area. I just don't think there are enough of us on this site to keep a Mahoning Valley sub-forum busy enough.

Default The powers that be...

Well, if I'm over ruled I suppose it's a done deal. At least I tried.

True. We are just NOT Cleveland, Akron-Canton. Personally, I think we are long overdue for that.

There are many aspects of culture and life in Trumbull and Mahoning Counties that are significantly unique to our region. I also think there are enough of us.

Cleveland and Akron/Canton are places I visit. They are not places that I frequent on a daily and weekly basis. I think most of us would agree with that.

I have an idea - is there a particular mod with whom you are friendly or know more than casually? I know a few. How about we each approach the mod of our choice and see is they are open to moderating this sorely needed sub forum.

Do not give up just yet!
