So reading everybody’s comments above. Everyone seems to have a very good idea. And these ideas have been floating around for decades along with a high crime rate in these areas. So how come none of these good ideas have been implemented over the years? Where do the millions of dollars go that are meant to help these people over the last decade? Before Covid we had the lowest unemployment in decades also. So what’s really going on?

I thought the U3 unemployment rate didn't matter. Or, is that only when the POTUS is someone who you and those of your ilk personally don't like?

Reality: The U3 unemployment rate had decreased steadily from early 2010 through the time Trump took office. He did nothing but ride a wave until the bottom fell out. If he would've set forth policies that were beneficial to the lower tier of society and handled the COVID crisis like a rational adult rather than a petulant child, the economy wouldn't have hit the depths that it did. Moreover, he might have even been elected to a second term. Alas, he was not.

Not a good year for Cleveland. I was also very surprised at the statistics for the suburb of East Cleveland. They recorded 17 homicides for a suburb of only 17,000.

Toledo finished 2020 with its highest number of homicides on record:

"the total number of Toledo metro area homicides in 2020 has reached 64 people. In the city, homicides now number 61, eclipsing the annual record of 60 homicides set in 1980."

This is a significant increase from 2019 (38) and 2018 (36).
