Statistics show that blacks are a minority population that commits crime at a higher rate than their percentage of the population. Whites are a more affluent majority that commits crime at a rate lower than their percentage of the population.

Assuming these stats are accurate, why would anyone be surprised blacks commit more interracial crime (averaging for percent of population) against whites than the reverse? However, that does not necessarily indicate blacks hold more racial animosity against whites.

Umm, that doesn't invalidate his assertion. Everyone knows most murders are intra-racial. The reason is humans generally murder people they know personally, and humans also generally associate with people of the same race.

Sadly, the FBI reports crime statistics are focused on race. E.g., violent crime likely correlates more closely with poverty, lax educational attainment, etc., than with race.


Ohio under Republicans have encouraged the proliferation of guns in Ohio, e.g., by blocking home rule laws against gun possession and concealed carry, while also slashing local government support for poor communities and also public education funding, such as with ridiculous and unfair charter school funding provisions.

I know Ohio definitely has its issues with race but SC has it share too. Dylan Roof went into a black church and committed mass murder on black churchgoers in "progressive" South Carolina. Unfortunately, you're not going to escape racism and hatred because it exists in every state, whether it's conservative or liberal.

What a stupid article. Would anyone care to define "hate?" Is there a dividing line between anger, frustration and "hate"? What is the dividing line between dislike, personal preference and "hate?" Is violent crime necessarily a "hate" crime? If people self report feeling some type of discrimination, does that mean that an entire state is "hateful?"
