Has anyone ever heard of Shauck Cemetery? The only information I have says that is on U.S. Highway 42 in Johnsville, OH. But when I try to find directions to it, I'm told that Johnsville doesn't exist. Help! My best friend's sister is buried there and I wanted to go see her headstone.
Thanks!

I found this in a search. The address and phone number for the cemetery:

Shauck Cemetery
6707 U.S. 42, Johnsville, OH 44904
419-362-7946

Good luck.

There are about 5 cities named Johnsville in Ohio. The one you want is in Morrow County and it's first post office/postmaster was named Shaulk.

The cemetery you would like is on Rt 42, just NorthEast of the intersection of State Rt. 42 and 314 in Shaulk about 1/2 mile on your left.

My Grandmother and her sister started a one-room schoolhouse in Shaulk on land donated by their father. Several generations of my family are buried there.

Go in Feburary and try to purchase some very light (best tasting) Ohio Maple syrup there from the Amish.
